Experience the silence and relax optimally in the French countryside

In the middle of France you are very welcome at our Domaine to enjoy the space, the natural beauty and beautiful skies. From sunrise to sunset in an oasis of undisturbed tranquility without the presence of children. The perfect place to refuel and experience all the beauty that the middle of France has to offer, to be precise: Le Berry region.

We have two luxury (four star) gites for a carefree holiday. There are two large barns in the yard of our almost two-hundred-year-old farmhouse, where our gîtes l’Escalier and Orange are located. We have a very spacious garden with various areas including a fantastic fire pit, a jeu de boules court, a large deck terrace with lounge sofa and large dining table. The garden also has sun loungers and armchairs.

We have various local tips about restaurants, the nicest brocantes and sights that have not yet been discovered by mass tourism.

The green, rural Berry offers the loveliness of the countryside and the varied landscape of rolling hills and small flowing streams in the valleys. In addition to an abundance of peace and natural beauty, the area is ideal for sporting activities, such as walking, cycling or golf. You will also find a variety of sights here, such as castles and churches, but also picturesque villages with the typical French atmosphere.

You may also find it interesting to visit a “distillerie traditionelle” where the Liqueurs du Berry is made. You can taste many types of liquors there.

Are you an avid reader or do you also like to laze around? Then move to the lounge sofa on the decked terrace or to one of the sun loungers in the garden and close your eyes for a moment. Every now and then you are startled by birdsong or screeching birds of prey. In the evening when you enjoy the sunset, you might just see a deer or a fox walking by. On a clear night you can admire the Milky Way twinkling above our Domaine
