Vineyard tour

the wine region of Châteaumeillant in the Berry

Domaine Pouzoult offers you, in coöperation with Goûts du Berry, a wine and gastronomy tour in the wine region of Châteaumeillant in the Berry.

You can choose between a half-day vineyard tour or a cheese and wine tour, including lunch, which will take up the entire day. The excursions are given by an English guide. You do not have to worry about transport, because there will be a pick-up and drop-off At Domaine Pouzoult.

A customized tour is also possible. The costs depend on your preferences.

Cost per excursion

  • The costs for the vineyard excursion are € 45 per person
  • The costs for the cheese and wine day excursion are € 115 per person.

During these tours you will have plentiful opportunities to taste wine. Due to the limited number of places, we recommend booking these tours in combination with your booking.

Painting

NEVER PAINTED? But always wanted to do? Come and paint…!

During your holiday you have the opportunity to give this a try.
Creativity makes you happy, it opens your heart and gives space to new ideas.
The surroundings of Domaine Pouzoult are ideal for a painting workshop.

This workshop is a great first step into the world of colour and expression. By working on the basis of your own wishes or assignments, you will become acquainted with various materials and techniques. The painting workshop has a relaxed character and is suitable for beginners and advanced.
You don’t need any painting experience: the workshop is designed in such a way that it is accessible to everyone.
Don’t hesitate any longer, you too are going home with something great.
But more importantly, enjoy this special activity in the French countryside.

The workshop is given by the Dutch artist / painter: Frédéric Fortanier

Frédéric has a great knowledge of shapes and colours and has various exhibitions at home and abroad to his name.
His training at the Free Academy in The Netherlands ultimately resulted in his clear, sometimes confronting use of colour. He does not avoid experiments with alternative materials and pushes the boundaries. He will introduce you to his extensive experience with watercolour, acrylic and gouache.

Price of this workshop, including materials, coffee / tea and at the end a glass of wine: € 62.50 pp. (when 2/3 people participate – duration 2.5 hours)

If the weather permits, painting will be done outside in the artist’s garden or possibly on location (e.g. Domaine Pouzoult).

When staying in a gîte at both Domaine Pouzoult and L’Etournerie, you will receive a free menu for two people at both accommodations. A lovely way to start or end your stay.
